Responsibilities

Supervise the provision of clinical and non-clinical services. Manage clinical operations, services, personnel, and office operations

Qualifications

  • Required graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Required to have and maintain a valid clinical license, per state requirements, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for a compact nurse license.
  • Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with a review and approval from the vice president operations or regional president
  • Required to have previous experience practicing under the professional license for this position.
  • Required to have minimum of two years of nursing experience within the immediate previous 36 months.
  • Required to have minimum of one year of experience with home health.
  • Required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
  • Required to have and maintain CPR certification, as required by position.
  • Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
  • Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law
  • Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
  • Preferred previous experience in a management position.
  • Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
  • Preferred bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to facilitate clear communication with patients and caregivers, improve service delivery, and support positive patient outcomes.
  • Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition and be able to safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
  • Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve
    Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
    • Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs, such as appointments, or to operate in crises beyond its control, such as during a natural disaster or pandemic

 

Education and experience, state specific

 

ARIZONA
Must be a registered nurse with at least three years of nursing experience, including at least two years as a registered nurse providing home health services.

 

CONNECTICUT
Must be a registered nurse with an active license to practice in this state, and have one of the following: 1) masters degree from a program approved by the National League for Nursing or the American Public Health Association with a minimum of one year full time clinical experience in a home health or related community health program that includes care of the sick at home; or 2) a bachelors degree in nursing and a minimum of three years full time clinical experience in nursing, with at least one year in a home health or community health program that includes care of the sick at home; or 3) a registered nurse who has been continuously employed in the position of supervisor of clinical services in a home health in this state since January 1, 1979; or 4) a diploma in nursing or an associate degree in nursing and a minimum of three years of full time or full time equivalent clinical experience in nursing within the past five years, with at least one year in a home health or community health program that includes care of the sick at home, and evidence of certification by the American Nurses' Association as a community health nurse or completion of at least six credits received within two years in community health nursing theory or six credits in health care management from an accredited college or university program or school of nursing.

 

DELAWARE
Must be a registered nurse with at least one year of home health and supervisory experience.

 

ILLINOIS
Must have a bachelor degree in nursing and one year of nursing experience; or be a registered nurse with
three years experience, two of which must be in a home health or family-centered nursing program in a
community health program. No person may hold positions of branch director and administrator simultaneously.

 

MARYLAND
Must have 2-3 years of experience or education in community nursing. Alternate branch director home health.
