Responsibilities
Serve as the local chief executive agent. Lead the local provider(s) in a better way to care for the community in which it serves, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Ensure the execution of operations are completed daily. Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing.
Qualifications
- Required licensed physician, registered nurse, or possess a bachelor’s degree.
- Required to not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
- Required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
- Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
- Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
- Required ability to travel by person vehicle up to 25% of the time.
- Preferred licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator.
- If clinical:
- Required to have and maintain a valid clinical license, per state requirements, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for a compact nurse license.
- Required to have and maintain CPR certification, as required by position.
- Preferred to have minimum of one year of previous experience in a management position.
- Preferred previous experience in a home health care or hospice program.
- Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Preferred bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to facilitate clear communication with patients and caregivers, improve service delivery, and support positive patient outcomes.
- Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
- Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
- Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve
Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other

COLORADO
Must comply with Colorado state regulation 6CCR 1011-1 (7.6) requiring 24 hours of training in the first 12

CONNECTICUT
A master degree in nursing with an active license to practice nursing in the state and at least one year of
supervisory or administrative experience in a health care facility program which included care of the sick; or a
master degree in public health or administration with a concentration of study in health services administration, and at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in a health care facility or program which included care of the sick; or a baccalaureate degree in nursing with an active license to practice nursing in the state and at least two years supervisory or administrative experience in a health care facility or program which included care of the sick; or a baccalaureate degree in administration with a concentration of study in health services administration and at least two years supervisory or administrative experience in a health care facility or program which included care of the sick; or a physician licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the state of Connecticut who has had at least one year supervisory or administrative experience in a health care facility or program which included care of the sick; or employment as the administrator of a home health care agency in this state as of January 1, 1981, who has been so employed continuously for the five years immediately preceding January 1, 1981; or continuous employment as an administrator of a home health care agency as of January 1, 1979 ; except that on and after January 1, 1986, no person shall be employed as an administrator of a home health care agency pursuant to this subdivision unless such person additionally meets one of the requirements above. Must be administrator for only one agency.
DELAWARE
Must have a Bacculaereate degree with five years home health care experience and one year of supervisory
experience in home health; or must be a registered nurse with five years health care experience and one year of supervisory experience.
FLORIDA
Must be administrator for only one agency; or manage up to five agencies located within one agency
geographic service area or within immediate contiguous counties and have identical controlling interest.
