Overview

Responsible for improving and maintaining a properly functioning revenue cycle process through a cross-departmental organizational structure. This role will ensure seamless flow of accurate and timely information across disparate clinical, operational, and financial departments with the goal to improve people, processes, and technology resulting in maximized profitability and compliance.

 

Location: 6688 N. Central Expwy. Dallas, TX 75206

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators of department staff.
  • Provide timely oversight for task completion; ensure minimal write-off of reimbursement dollars.
  • Ensure the department is operating properly and efficiently; all claims are processed, billed, and collected,
    and reports are reviewed.
  •  Review the unbilled reports monthly; provide oversight for billing all claims timely.
  • Review aging reports monthly; provide oversight for the collection of all claims timely.
  • Provide training to ensure ongoing development, professional growth; related to software and regulatory
    changes, payor contracts, compliance, procedures, and policies.
  • Ensure all functions of the billing software are utilized effectively; suggest additional software function and
    enhancement as necessary to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure the department adheres to all regulations, guidelines, and contract requirements; federal, state, and
    payor specific.
  • Create, update, and implement departmental policy and procedure to ensure efficiency and regulatory
    compliance.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in, business, management, or related field is required or 15 years of equivalent work
    experience is considered in lieu of degree requirements.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a director or senior level management role is required.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in healthcare revenue management is required.
  • Previous experience with governmental and commercial payors in areas of policy, reimbursement,
    compliance, coding, and billing is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of healthcare billing, cash collections, process improvement, accounts
    receivable, payor relations, or systems development and implementation is preferred.
  • Expert level analytical and data analysis skills is preferred.\
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
  • Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve
    Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other
    position objectives.
